Not sure? Contact the clinicOne Specialist MSK Team
Clinical assessment, physiotherapy, diagnostic ultrasound and rehabilitation are available within one clinic. Imaging and procedures are recommended only when clinically appropriate.
Specialist MSK expertise
Experienced physiotherapists with advanced musculoskeletal and ultrasound training.
Diagnostic ultrasound on site
When imaging is likely to add useful information, diagnostic MSK ultrasound may be available during the same visit, subject to clinical need and availability.
Treatment and rehabilitation together
Treatment may include education, exercise, rehabilitation and appropriate hands-on care. Image-guided procedures may be considered after assessment.
Appointments that fit around you
Weekday, evening and Saturday appointments are available. Online consultations may be suitable for selected concerns.
Our Services
Three services, used on their own or together depending on what your assessment finds.
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapists assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, including sports injuries, persistent pain, postural problems and conditions requiring rehabilitation. Treatment is based on clinical assessment and current evidence, with a programme tailored to your needs.
MSK Ultrasound and Image Guided Procedures
Diagnostic ultrasound interpreted alongside clinical assessment, with image-guided procedures considered where appropriate.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique that may be used as part of physiotherapy for selected presentations involving muscle tightness and myofascial pain. Your clinician will assess whether it is appropriate for you.
Which service might I need?
You do not need to choose a scan or procedure before contacting us. A physiotherapy or specialist MSK assessment is an appropriate starting point for many concerns. Your clinician will explain whether imaging or another service is likely to add value.
Pain, injury, stiffness or a movement problem you would like assessed

A problem already assessed, where an image-guided procedure is being considered
Image-guided procedures
May be considered where clinically appropriate following assessment.
Muscle tightness or myofascial pain alongside your rehabilitation
Dry Needling
May be used alongside physiotherapy for selected muscle and myofascial presentations.

Common Questions Before Booking
If your question is not answered here, call us on 02038118464 and one of the team will talk it through with you.
You can normally book a private physiotherapy or MSK assessment without a GP referral. Your insurer may require a referral or pre-authorisation, so check your policy before booking.
If you are unsure, contact the clinic. A physiotherapy or specialist MSK assessment is an appropriate starting point for many concerns. A scan or procedure should not be selected solely on the basis of website information.
Response to treatment varies. Your clinician will discuss reasonable aims, review your progress and explain other options or referral pathways if you do not improve as expected.
Face-to-face consultations are available. Online consultations may be suitable when the required assessment and advice can be provided safely in that format. Scans, dry needling and image-guided procedures require an in-person appointment.
Appointment length depends on the service booked. The team will confirm how long to allow when you book.
Bring relevant medical reports, a current medicine list and details of allergies. Wear clothing that allows the relevant area to be assessed. You may bring a chaperone or support person; please contact the clinic in advance if you require assistance, an interpreter or another adjustment.
Yes. If further medical or surgical assessment is recommended, your clinician will explain the next steps and discuss the options with you.
You do not need to diagnose yourself before contacting us. Tell the team what problem you are experiencing, how it affects you and what you would like to get back to doing, and they can advise on the most appropriate appointment or next step.
